Auto repair software questions

Technicians open the DVI on their tablet from the open RO. They rate each inspection point as green (good), yellow (monitor), or red (requires service) and attach a photo for any yellow or red item. The completed DVI generates a customer-facing report automatically.
Yes. When an advisor recommends additional work from the DVI, the customer receives a text with the recommended services, prices, and DVI photos. They tap Approve or Decline. The authorization is recorded on the RO.
The vehicle record supports VIN entry. For recall information, the system links to NHTSA's recall database by VIN so advisors can check open recalls during write-up. Recall repair tracking and OEM authorization management are available on the Business plan.
The Enterprise plan includes custom labor guide integrations. For other plans, you can build your own labor operation catalog with your flat-rate times and pricing.
Services declined by a customer during a visit are flagged as deferred. The Business plan sends an automated follow-up message (email or text) to the customer at a configurable interval — e.g., 30 days after the declined recommendation.
Warranty ROs are a separate RO type. You record the OEM claim number, authorization, and reimbursable labor rate. The Business plan includes warranty claim status tracking and reimbursement report generation.
